Now, in crowded Chicago, valet parking actually provides a service that you wouldn't want to -- they park your car in front of a fire hydrant and pay off the cops for you. But, in LA, they just drive your car 30-40 feet and stick it in the restaurant's parking lot. Then, when you come out of the restaurant, you have to stand around for 5 or 10 minutes waiting for your car, which is about a 15 second walk away from you. Sent at: 2008 12 01
