Despite many appeals, both 'Conservative' and 'Liberal' governments have refused to restore them. The 'Conservatives' have had two chances now, so I guess there's no hope. Please give us back the common law; the constitutional rights nonsense has only just begun and it's already a mess. For the mediocrity award is there any possibility it could be shared? By almost every public figure in Canada? That way they could all win the gold and nobody's feelings would be hurt.
