What I do object to with "domestic partner" laws is that they only apply to Homosexuals. There are a number of poor people I know, some at my church, some friends who do not have health insurance and I am single. I don't have any brother or sister, but that would be another example. But I can't add someone who might need it on to my health insurance unless they are my spouse or domestic partner. I would not object if whatever benefit could be to anyone I name. Ah, but now that gay marriage is available in CA, they can repeal all the Domsetic Partnership laws! Sent at: 2008 12 05
