Sleazy US business's have decided to exploit, cheap, illegal alien labor. No one (much less me) is against immigration - the question is how much and the legality of it. Illegal immigrants concurrently violate several laws to stay living and working in the USA. The only sensible course is to step up enforcement at the border and the interior of the nation. That will, by itself, drive many illegals to go back to their home countries. Furthermore as Mark K. suggests, a lowering of legal immigration should begin to "re-balance" the scales of immigration and sovereignty. Sent at: 2008 12 05
