The Traditionalist is not interested in a new religion but rather the old -- or better said, the true -- religion. He rejects turning either the Pope, or councils, or the visible Church into some sort of idol to be worshiped. Rather, we seek first the kingdom of Heaven, just as Jesus told us. The Church only makes sense when it is ordered to that end. If aspects of the Church are no longer ordered such, then they are not to be followed.
