Many of the fellows that invented our governmental system that morphed into something that would apall them, were derisive of the common judeo-christian mystical beliefs. Their declaration that the clockbuilding god could no longer have any more miracles up his sleeve seems a bit illogical to me but I am sure all of us could see them as Cultists.
