We agree on much, but we will never agree on sola fide. Anyway, I think you misuse the term Judaizers. In the New Testament, the concept of Judaizer referred to someone who felt the need to follow certain aspects of the Law – circumcision, observe the Jewish holidays, refrain from eating pork etc. On the other hand, sola fide is accused by Catholics of being antinomian. Well it can’t be both. Both excessively “nomian” (Judiazer) and antinomian. So what exactly are you getting at with the term Judaizer? If you mean friendly to Judaism, then I think some other term is more appropriate and less theologically laden. Same thing applies to Mr. Wheeler. Sent at: 2008 05 15
