Where, pray tell, Mr. Watson, in the hundreds of thousands of words I have written, have I ever expressed a belief in a "Catholic politics"? Or, for that matter, where have I discussed "the possibility of a Roman Catholic American conservatism"? In this thread, I've attacked the idea of a purely Protestant American conservatism, but the alternative I've put forward is an American conservatism that cuts across the Protestant/Catholic divide.
