If you asked me to defend Europe as it was in 1899 against an Islamic invasion, I would have done so to the last drop of my blood. As for Europe as it is now - I see no reason. Given a choice, in fact, between Europe being ruled by atheists or by Muslims, I'd prefer Islam for the simple reason that I'd prefer *some* God to *no* God. "Secularism/modernism/atheism/feminism is better than Islam, and should be encouraged in order to battle it." is a neocon argument. It's Giulianiism.
