No one is in effect stopping them, and the fence, which by the way includes and excludes Jewish and Arab towns, is stopping terrorism in the short run. The only problem with the occupation is its being unfair to the Palestinians. But they haven't yet demonstrated themselves worthy. Best is if it builds settlements so they gain more land. It will crowd the Palestinians more and perhaps decrease the birth rate. Land is crucial in any longer struggle, which Israel is in. Sent at: 2008 12 02
