Secession means not recognizing a central authority at all. Secession means that the country you seceded from is now a foreign country, the same as all the other countries surrounding it. Secession means that you can put up armed borders, ask for passports, put up tarifss, and all that without asking permission to anyone. Secession means that the Constitution by which you used to live is no longer valid, and can write a whole new one more to your liking. Secession means that you can go to war or avoid it by yourself. Eamon de Valera could explain to you what secesion means. He made it very clear when he kept Ireland out of WWII. There was no loose federation for him. Sent at: 2008 08 21
