Thus it is not only white genes that get diluted. The reason why whites seem to be dwindling is because of the way the problem is stated. If all the products of intermarriage are called non-white, of course, whites will dwindle, if they are counted as much by one parent as by the others, white are spreading out and becoming more numerous. For example, in Spain the family Primo de Rivera is part of the nobility (they are marquises). Along the line one of their ancestors married a guarani indian, and had half-breed children, who when they grew up were counted as Spaniards.
