Are you aware that the British aristocracy was complicit in Henry VIII's rapine of the Chruch propert? That they greedily participated in that spoliation? There is hardly a noble house in England that has not received those stolen goods in the past. Now, if you want to do away with the welfare state, then by all means, get all those nobles to give up what they stole, so that the Chruch can take of charity and there will be no need to tax the common man for it.
