I sed: Even Kerry---the poster child for the Vietnam anti-war radicals---picked up enough votes to swing the election. What I meant is that Kerry, as bad as he was, came within 1% of winning in 2004, which is a sad commentary on the Bush2 leadership, in the middle of a "war", and all the tub-thumping he was doing.
