Sen. Santorum not only supported Sen. Specter, but often campained for other notorious pro abortion republicans such as Christine Todd Whitman. Regarding Toomey, please don't refer to him as having impeccable pro-life credentials. He only came to the position of being pro-life "with exceptions" during his primary run against Sen.Specter. Prior to that he had an even more liberal postion on abortion. The only way one can authentically claim to be pro-life and that is to be 100% pro-life, "NO EXCEPTIONS". It is time that to stop allowing politicians who hold the "personally I am against abortion position" and/or the "exception position" from calling themselves pro-life. This flim flam must stop.
