It seems that it is just too tempting for those looking for a stage or a pulpit to accept the funds for their activities in return for a “little compromise”. Not to do so would mean to share the fate of Joe Sobran, who had to struggle and ultimately discontinue the publishing of his column, due to a lack of funds.
