I embrace the idea that an attack on the state is an attack on the punditocracy, but I'm not suprised they don't. But I'm sympathetic only to a point. there is a creepy stalinism at work when dr pauls name comes up, particularly on the left. yuo are alowed to say " he's a borken clock thats right twice a day" and "his followers are annoying". those are the two politically correct things you are allowed to say about him if you are a liberal. you must preface anything else you say with these remarks.
