Message: Entry: Ron Paul on Jay Leno Link: http://www.takimag.com/blogs/article/ron_paul_on_jay_leno#8394 Post contents: Not the first time we had a harmonic convergence with John Lydon. He came to the Reform Party convention for the Buchanan campaign, covering it for his show on Vh1 ( one of the few "journalists" who did). I saw him in the Lobby interviewing some little old lady about her views on the UN ( he was very polite and engaging ) Later, when peole people began to realize there was a celebraty in the house, he happily posed for pictures with some of the delagates. I tried to wrangal an iterview for him with Pat - but made the mistake of intrucing him as Johny Rotton. They must have thought it was some kind of dirty trick - at that time, we had the Fulani-ittes to contend with. The interview never happened, perhaps for the best. Johny will be forever confusing with Sid Vicous ( Scott McClellan's first words to him were - "But I thought you were dead." John wrote a great book about his adventures with Sex Pistols and beyond - No Blacks No Dogs No Irish. He recently told Rolling Stone's "Hall of Fame" what they could do with their award. Johny's a true revolutionary who was banned by the establishment just like we are. In the immortal words of the original punks - The Ramones - "Gabba Gabba Hay We Accept You! One of Us One of Us!".
