I agree with most of your points, but not this one. The Muslim joke in conquered Spain was not good for the Christian population. There are many sources of information that prove it. Even if you read the poem of the 'Cid Campeador' based on events in the XI century you will notice the tensions between Christians and Muslims. The reaction was getting momentum and ended when Isabel and Fernando got rid of the Muslims and other enemies of Christian Spain in Granada in 1492. I am against invading Muslim countries a la G. W. Bush, but that does not mean I agree with bringing millions of them to historical Christian countries.
