The author is correct when he looks at the social behavior of today's Jews living in Western countries. He overshoots the mark when he generalizes about Jews ever since antiquity and tries to treat biblical figures as illustrations of unchanging Jewish character. He finally never proves that the behavior he sets out to exmaine is reducible to the socio-biological drive that he assumes lies behind it.. Sent at: 2008 05 15
