Even if not infallible, church teaching must at least be trustworthy. My little section of Christendom has not changed its official teachings since 1646. Unlike Rome, we Calvinists do not twist in the wind. <i>Scratch a SSPX’er, find an antisemite.</i> This is a cheap shot. I think SSPX is wrong, but I don't use uncivil invective like that. Instead of trying to keep a dead tradition that Rome repudiated, SSPX should start questioning the Tridentine system. Luther and Calvin were right. Human works do not merit justification.
