I recall a time when I had caught some kids [I was just 18] stealing bicycles from the garage which I had left open [back in 1978 we didnt have much, if any crime in the barrio] I was angry and caught them but didnt hurt them. It turns out their parents were extremely poor and they would drop the kids off to steal lawnmowers and bikes to sell or pawn. I held them and called the police. The kids didn't even know their address but could find their way home and thats how the police caught the parents. Sent at: 2008 09 06
