I know Czech, Polish, AND Hungarian immigrants, and NONE of them, NOT ONE SINGLE OF THEM would have ever contemplated working up on Sand Mountain or in North Georia or the Piedmont of North Carolina to work in poultry processing plants. For examples, a Polish immigrant I know is a truck driver. A Hungarian immigrant is a waitress. A Czech immigrant is a waiter, so is his wife. None of them had to learn English here, that language was taught in their schools from an early age. Your comments reveal your ignorance on the matter. Also, I agree, immigration restrictions need to be lifted on European countries, not that it stops people from coming to America on visas and staying. I know many many Irish, Russian, Polish, etc. immigrants that are here just as illegal as many many many Mexican immigrants I know. Sent at: 2008 10 12
