Though Boyd Cathey starts with a wrong premise (#i.), he and I comes out at the same place. Boyd Cathey, in other words, is saying that the obligation of charity renders nugatory #i. This makes Boyd Cathey a man of charity, a good Catholic, and a Christian gentleman.
