For when I go around my town wearing my Ron Paul button, I keep getting the question, “Who’s Ron Paul?” The League of the South has a four step program of insight, a program that I take distilled from our President, J. Michael Hill, in his speech to our national convention in October, 2006. <b>Step 1: The Yankee Empire, founded by Dishonest Abe, is broken and headed into a crisis followed by its catastrophic collapse. Step 2. It can’t be fixed, and its crisis and its catastrophe are a soon-to-be <i>fait accompli.</i> Step 3. As awareness of impending doom increases, people will ask what they can do to save themselves. Step 4. The League knows what to do.</b> Paul Gottfried and almost everyone else who writes for this website has taken the 1st Step of insight. Mr. Capp has taken the 2nd. I invite others to take this step as well. So I welcome articles that affirm the 1st Step. Yet I would also welcome debate on 2nd. And when we accept the 2nd, let’s proceed with the 3rd and start offering advice to people, and let’s start evaluating assorted advice, preferably on a level above calling opponents “infantile”.
