Hey Buster, lay off Lawrence Welk, television has not been nearly so good since we lost the dancing bubbles and Happily Singing Doofus’s of Good old Lawrence Welk.
Anyhow, comparing Welk to Rachmaninoff or Haydn is like comparing Bobby Brown to Coltrane or...if hammered, Snoop Dogg to George Clinton. There is music and then there is Art.

My only problem with Rachmaninov is how he blatantly ripped off the “Somewhere in Time” soundtrack.
