After an overwhelming number of state delagates “passed” on McCain’s nomination why would anyone be surprised that he didn’t bring up the reasons he is considered a maverick?

McCain knows he has been in bed and will continue to be in bed with Ted Kennedy and the RINO’s who supported the attack on our freedom of speech and now hope to overrun the country with millions more illegal alien criminals so how could he bring up more than just bragging that he is a maverick when he knows a lot of the Republican base didn’t and won’t support him?

Seriously, I would like to know what people’s reasons are.  I believe we could all have a more honest discussion if we were to just explain ourselves to one another, in a fair and civil manner.  These reasons need not be explained, simply listed.

Immigration is McCain’s earmark.

Palin buys McCain nothing from me.  I want the neocons out of my government, immigration halted and illegal immigrants arrested and deported. McCain is trying to get past all this without telling outright lies about his intentions.  But by floating the names of AIPAC cyphers like Eric Cantor for VP, then allowing unpricipled slime like Lieberman onto the convention stage he has spoken volumes about what those intentions are. He’s going to sell us out to AIPAC, sell us out on immigration and and intensify outsourcing and the “work visa” scam.  He’s going to complete the wrecking job begun by Clinton and continued by Bush and the tweedle-dee tweedle-dum Congress.  We’ve got to vote them all out.

84,000 was increase in unemployed in August.  84,000 x 12 is about 1 million.  Immigration is over 1 million per year.

My reasons for opposing immigration are as follows…

1.  I believe that immigration should exist for one reason..to meet the labor needs of our country.

2.  I oppose ILLEGAL immigration because it is possible that those who wish us ill could sneak into the country.

3. I oppose high levels of (legal) immigration because of the large numbers of people who have not assimilated (due to illegal and large numbers of immigrants who have recently arrived).

4a. “Family reunification” should not be high on the list of reasons to accept immigrants.  Do we need the old and sick relatives of immigrants to clog our social welfare roles?

4b. I think that allowing foreign brides from the immigrants’ home ountries (especially young, uneducated girls for pre-arranged marriages) should be forbidden.

Why?

This would encourage the immigrants to marry the daughters of other immigrants who were born here...and are at least partially Americanized. It will help to break up the tribal affilications of those who choose to settle here. The families will form new affiliations within their socioeconomic groups and churches
(mosques).

5. Immigration of unskilled labor is not adventageous for native-born people who are not “college material.”

Why depress wages and keep adding semi-employed people to welfare roles?

Also, hard physical labor is good for young men..in most cases.  They get strong, go to bed earlier and (in most cases)stay out of trouble.  In addition, they have the income to form families.

I’m sure if I thought more about it; I could find several other reasons to curb immigration.

For me my beefs about this issue involve the absolute number of newcomers, the lack of assimilation, the origin of the newcomers, the strain on public services, depression of wages for our workers, and the sense of chaos and lawlessness.

So far, two answers, neither of which are the correct answer.

The only reason to oppose immigration is that it will destroy the fabric of your Catholic Culture.  Considering that American “culture” is explicitly against the One True Faith, then any kind of Satanic “creative destruction” is simply inevitable.  Even without immigrants, American “culture” would still be a boiling cauldron of perversity.  What kind of leap in logic is required to believe an abundance of Catholics, or even Muslims, are pushing for such things as gay “marriage”, abortion “rights”, wars on Iraq, Afghanistan, etc., the rampant cultural depravity, industrialized farming, automobile oriented cities and villages, etc.

America is a mess not because there are some 15 million Catholic “brown people” contained within it’s borders, but because from the very foundation, it has rejected God and embraced Satan.

Has it ever occurred to any of you that if America were to turn towards God and away from Satan, then perhaps the regime of Freemasons that also run Mexico would collapse?  At that point, the Mexicans would no longer have a need to come to America, and immigration would be rare.  Believe you me, Mexicans do not come to America because they like it here, they come to America because it is their only outlet; their own country is cut off from them by their own government.

Stopping immigration does not require a policy of deportation and building walls, but starts right there in your own heart.  First, America must take care of it’s own problems, it’s own government; then, perhaps, we can worry about our neighbor’s.

2/19/08 Cottonwood, MN, four school children are killed, two of them brothers, 12 injured, when an illegal alien slammed into their school bus.  The illegal alien had been cited in 2006 in Minnesota for driving without a valid license, duh.  Had the illegal alien, also an identity thief, not been in this country, these children would be alive.
April 2008, Tina Davilos, mother of five, is stabbed to death by an illegal alien, Timoteo Rios, who attempted to rob her and take her SUV, which happened to contain her four month old daughter.  She screamed, “My baby, my baby”, as she fought off Rios.  Rios headed for the Mexican border.  Five orphaned children, for what, because no one has the wherewithal to do their job?

Jobs are lost, wages are garnished, identities stolen, Americans are victims of all manner of violent crime, social services are strained to the breaking point, we are paying for the education of people’s children who have no business being here, to the detriment of our own children’s education and on and on and on, but apparently this doesn’t register with you.  Are you that naive, or do you simply not care?

Evil things happen.  I can name crime after crime as well, all committed by various “native born White Americans”.  So there really is no point to your comment, other than no one should live in America besides yourself.  Is that the point you are trying to make?

Racial separatism - now there’s a sin!  Keeps me awake at night, you know?  That is until I recall scripture and realize that races (nations) were created by God and that each had and has his separate dwelling places (lands) - until very recently.

I oppose immigration because white people are better looking than others races.  Nobody would think I was weirdo for moving from New York to Wyoming for the space, why should I be ashamed about caring about how the people who I deal with on a daily basis look?

As for an earlier commentor’s question about illegal immigration, here are my reasons for opposing the practice and the granting of amnesty to illegals:

1) IDENTITY THEFT:  There are a significant number of working illegals that are committing ongoing identity fraud via fake/stolen SSNs, a crime that would likely include jail time if a citizen was caught doing it.  Entire industries turn a blind eye to these crimes (ex. the restaurant industry), because doing so provides them with employees who will work for very little and not make waves.

2) LINE-CUTTING:  Giving illegal aliens amnesty would be a slap in the face (or outright kick in the groin) to every legal immigrant who is trying to take the legal path towards citizenship or indefinite residency with all its red tape.  I have known people who have worked for years just to get their green card, much less full citizenship.  Why bother if you can just get amnesty?  People who cut in the front of the queue should not be rewarded for it.

3) SOCIAL BURDEN:  Illegal aliens are a burden on our already costly social services, both public and private.  Hospitals should not be driven out of business because too many illegals are showing up in their emergency rooms and not paying for it.  Public schools should not have to cater to the children of parents who are not even legal residents.

4) BALKANIZATION:  A country like the USA has been able to assimilate immigrants in reasonable numbers over the centuries, especially those who shared a common language or culture, but the massive amount of illegal immigration we have had from Mexico gives those illegals little to no motivation for assimilation.  Some urban or rural areas in America might as well be colonies for Mexico where no English is spoken.  The recent Georgia debacle has demonstrated how well countries function when they have large segments of the population that are at cultural and linguistic odds with each other.

Immigration is the Zyklon B of the Nazi left.  I oppose mass immigration because I oppose being the victim of genocide.  That’s the only real answer.  It is a hate motivated policy of genocide, and if you don’t oppose it on that ground then you don’t oppose it at all.  Imagine a Pole in 1943 pretending that his beef with the Nazis was only about employment or tax codes.  Liberalism, leftism, progressivism, whatever it wants to call itself, and whatever it was in the past, is a white-hating racist movement that practices murder, rape, ethnic cleansing and racist colonialism against its victims.

I’ve certainly had my say, but it staggers me how this is an issue that can be rationalized.  We are a good and generous nation, as well we ought to be, but we are sowing the seeds of our own destruction.
Worship Lincoln? No, I worship no man.  However, by the end of his life Lincoln had a much firmer grasp of the truth and would have done a much better job with the postwar than the hacks who attempted to destroy the South (both my Paternal and Maternal GG Grandfather’s served in the Army of the Confederacy).

Sounds like more Enlightenment rehash.  Consider this.  Human groups evolved in geograpically separate regions under different selective pressures - evolution did not stop at the neck, the races not only look different therir minds, on average process sensory information differently and with varying effeciency.

We need essentialism back on the table.  Not enlightenment rehash.  That means an objective, scientific explication of European Man and Woman. 

What was the Enlightenment anyways but a play on European Man’s higher level of individuality and the head rush that came with realizing his mighty creative powers.

We cannot make good Natural Lawists out of Negroes and Mestizoes, nor even high IQ northeast Asians and Jews.

I take it that you are referring to legal immigration and immigration in general as opposed to the open lawless of foreigners with regards to our laws. Hopefully, I do not have to explain the reason for why Western society needs laws in this regard.

I oppose current levels of immigration because mainly it in our current situation it is a weapon of globalism. I oppose globalism and believe in national sovereignty i.e. that God created separateness of nations and peoples. God destroyed Babel and I do not believe we should recreate it.

Now let me explain how high levels of immigration are being used by the Globalist against everyone.

1. High Levels of Immigration increase supply of Labor. In our current state of collapsing physical economy, this drives down wages and reduces worker bargaining power.

2. High levels of Immigration work as a release valve for corrupt foreign governments so that opposition to intolerable situations in those economies would require much needed reforms to allow for economic development. In effect it allowing high immigration is allowing worker dumping for third world countries instead of forcing them to develop the capacity to care for their own populations and export product. It also works as a means of social control.

3. High Immigration creating a brain drain in third world countries which further diminishes the value of labor in the third and thus creating a incentive for our business keep outsourcing even as US labor value drops due to increased supply. In short, high immigration creates a race to bottom effect that would other be canceled by fixed labor markets.

4. During a collapse of the physical economy the infrastructure of the nation becomes over burdened with increasing population and thus destroys markets that depend on the efficiency of that infrastructure. Immigration accelerates this process.

5. The transfer of immigrants from the host country artificially under burdened of infrastructure demands in the host country. But since those third world countries need more infrastructure development not less high levels of immigration delays those projects and jobs they would create thus creating an artificial need for immigration if normal patterns of economic development where not harmed by high levels of immigration.

6. Higher levels of low-skill immigrants place greater demand on public services thus increasing the need for more government spending on such programs but a lag factor will never allow the proper functioning of such programs.

7. The because influx of low-skill low wage immigrants cannot increase the tax base fast enough to pay for the public services that they consume so the government is forced money to borrow at interest which devalues the currency further.

8. The lower wages created by the increase in the supply of labor is offset by externalities in a collapsing physical economy thus allowing Employers to unjustly profit at public expense.

9. High Levels of High Skill Immigrants use our education system and HB1 visa program as a training program to displace our native workers in the global market. Thus allowing third world countries to temporarily create high skilled workers without expense of creating their own educational/trainings system. This results in a cannibalization of US higher education/training systems by foreigners which will create shortages of high skilled workers in the native population and degrades the overall quality of the training because the skills are not recycled back into same educational/training network.

10. Since higher immigration is increasing the skill low to high skill ratio the high skill labor is over burdened and less efficient as their skills are being monopolized in the service of low skill labor instead of capital formation.

11. Higher levels of immigrants depletes our resource base faster with less capitalization of those resources.

12. High levels of immigrants create markets for decapitalization of industry by allowing manual labor to economically supplant infant industries like robotics.

13. Higher level of immigrants are used to promote anti-American racialist movements which split the labor movement and breaks worker solidarity.

14. The rate of language assimilation necessary for social, political, and economic cohesion is inversely related to the rate of immigration and continued increased will result a total break down of all social cohesion i.e. Balkanization.

15. Low levels of social cohesion are cause by a more mutli-ethic or multi-lingual society are used for top down political control by promoting artificial enclave rivalry.

16. Coordination of united fronts for needed social and economic reform against the current power structure is destroyed by the artificial enclavism.

I’m done I can go on and on and on and on about how high levels of immigration are bad policy given our current situation. The basic point is that the globalists are trying to create common global labor market where we have wage equalization but to do this the United States has change its more advanced economy into a third economy and adopted the policies of every tin pot backwater.  What the Globalism requires the forcing of Americans to be totally interdependent on the trading and production routes owned by those globalist like George Soros and creation of a global culture that George Soros, Al Gore, and Prince Philip think is good and middle America be damned. 

In short, open immigration is part of the same kind of plan of the Evil British Empire with its monopoly on Naval trading routes and colonial policy of forced underdevelopment that America was born fighting against. It is the corporate oligarchy trying to recreate a modern tower Babel and a world Empire of Corporatism. Conservatives must reject Global Imperialism and all of its designs including open immigration.
