Video 1) To question the intelligence of voters “smacks against everything we hold dear”, assures Mssrs. Brownstein and Bernstein, having registered 100,000 Obama voters.

Video 2) It is gross, and not suiitable for non-adults, but every paleo must, MUST rent “Idiocracy.”

Wow, closer and closer to Douglas Adams’ stories:

“The purpose of the Presidency is not to wield power, but to distract attention from those who hold true power.”

As of 8:27 PM CDT on Saturday, video 2 is no longer available.

As for Brownstein and Bernstein, their highest civic duty should be limited to bathing regularly and using deodorant.

As someone who is a polling official in my state I can attest there are too many people voting who have no business doing so.

Before I would even allow anyone to register I would have them take a test on the Constitution and it amendments. I know that most people couldn’t pass it and that would be good, for it would spare us the likes of McCain and Obama. It would also make my job a hell of a lot easier not having to deal with a backlog of people on election day.

I’d love to make them take a test in American history for good measure.

I’m already looking forward to ‘12;
Kid Rock (R) vs. Jamie Lynn Spears (D)
Wooohhooo - Votin’ Rocks!

Correction - I’ve just been telepathically informed by her sister that Jamie Lynn won’t be old enough in 2012, but that she (Britney,born December 2, 1981) will just make it, and has more experience in domestic affairs. My apologies.
