So this writer is pissed because “ as you had guessed “ there was “no shortage of outrage from LGBT advocacy groups,” but not even a smidgen of complaint about the law’s “heightism.”
Well, duh. Big Gay is, alas, an actual (Miss) thing. But the LPA aside, there is no such menacing and powerful entity as, well, Big Small.
Yet.
I”m surprised it’s taken this long for the, shall we say, “travel-sized community” to squeeze their way into America’s last remaining manufacturing industry: the flourishing and highly lucrative “victimhood/outrage” sector.
Especially since, I was startled to learn, the touchiness of the teeny tiny is as old as the Bard himself.
Double-checking that line of Helena’s for this column, I discovered that the very next ones, uttered by Hermia, go like this:
“Little” again? Nothing but “low” and “little”!”
Why will you suffer her to flout me thus?
