Despite Weinstein’s naivet销”he didn”€™t realize that despite all his loudly proclaimed anti-racist sentiments and activism, he”€™ll always just be an evil white boy to a certain subset of fanatics”€”he at least showed a spine. In the face of all the chanting and threats, he didn”€™t back down an inch from his conviction that it’s “€œracist”€ to tell any racial group to stay away from their own school.

In stark contrast to Weinstein’s bravery was the pathetic and very public self-emasculation of university president George Bridges, current frontrunner for Cuckold of the Year. Despite being treated like a captured slave, forbidden to pee in private, and enduring fat black women yelling at him to “€œshut the fuck up,”€ Bridges displayed the body language of a man who felt as if the only righteous thing to do would be allowing himself to get gang-raped. He even capitulated when the crowd told him to quit committing “€œmicroaggressions”€ by talking with his hands, dutifully placing his meek paws behind his back as he continued to beg for an elusive forgiveness they seemingly never intended to grant him in the first place.

On Friday, Bridges surgically sliced off whatever vestiges remained of his testicles by delivering a statement acceding to most of the student fanatics”€™ unreasonable demands. I only need to quote the first few lines to give you an idea of where the statement was directly headed:

I”€™m George Bridges, I use he/him pronouns.

I begin our time together today by acknowledging the indigenous people of the Medicine Creek Treaty, whose land was stolen and on which the college stands….

On Friday roughly a quarter of all teachers at Evergreen signed off on a document scapegoating Bret Weinstein for what appear to be their own tangled racial guilt complexes and hangups:

We acknowledge that all of us who have power within the institution share responsibility for the racist actions of others. Furthermore, those of us who are white bear a particularly large share of that responsibility….Weinstein has endangered faculty, staff, and students, making them targets of white supremacist backlash by promulgating misinformation in public emails, on national television, in news outlets, and on social media…[by enabling] alt-right narratives that are demonizing Evergreen and Day of Absence specifically.

What’s comically tragic is that these teachers appear to think that by endlessly signaling that they are nowhere near as racist as the resolutely anti-racist Bret Weinstein, somehow they will escape the unending wrath of The Mob. They appear not to have considered how well that “€œHey, I”€™m not a racist”€ strategy turned out for Weinstein. They don”€™t seem to have considered that all the squeaky wheels they”€™ve greased will roll right over them one day, too.
