Whoa, I bet that will hurt his feelings almost as much as their feelings are so obviously hurt already.

Many progressive Britons suddenly developed an interest in government waste and started howling that the amplified police presence required to maintain order amid the protests could cost up to £10 million. In their familiar tendency to cry out in pain as they strike you, they pretended this was Trump’s fault rather than that of the protestors. Well, that’s an easy dispute to solve: How much would the police presence have cost if not a single protestor showed up?

For his part, Trump slyly avoided all most all of the poo-flinging because he wisely flitted around town in a helicopter. In a masterful display of Supreme Trumpian Dickishness, he paused between holes of golf to walk over and wave with a smile to the protestors who were calling him a despicable racist fascist Nazi.

As has always been the case with Trump, his fiercest critics are merely only projecting their own inner turmoil onto him. Everything they say and do is far more hysterical and childish than anything he’s ever said or done.

So why are they so hysterical if Trump isn’t?

These people came ready-made with inner turmoil, but it took their social betters to manipulate it into a “movement.” During his only newspaper interview during the UK trip, Trump made statements which cut to the quick of why so many people have been manipulated into losing their minds over him:

I have great love for countries in Europe. Don’t forget, essentially I’m a product of the European Union, between Scotland and Germany. Right? My father Germany, my mother Scotland….I think what has happened to Europe is a shame. Allowing the immigration to take place in Europe is a shame. I think it changed the fabric of Europe and, unless you act very quickly, it’s never going to be what it was and I don’t mean that in a positive way. So I think allowing millions and millions of people to come into Europe is very, very sad. I think you are losing your culture. Look around. You go through certain areas that didn’t exist ten or 15 years ago.

And there you have it. Trump’s crime is to say that Europe should be for Europeans. Is that extreme? Not at all. It’s perfectly natural and intuitive. It’s only the reaction that’s extreme.

In this scenario, it’s clear who the diaper-wearing babies are.
