A compatriot of mine, and a regular Takimag reader, has written to me to point out that in my recent article “My Short Happy Life As A Knowledge Management Drone”, I erred in saying that Campion College was Australia’s sole private university. In fact, this reader told me, Queensland’s private Bond University still exists (something of which I was unaware); and another Australian institution, the University of Notre Dame, is private (I had assumed it was entirely government-subsidized). I hereby admit my mistake in the interests of accuracy, although I still consider that my principal point remains valid.
