The attendees of Ron Paul’s “Rally for the Republic” will undoubtedly be slandered across the Internet as a bunch of insane cranks. I ask, however, at what other gathering would loud applause be heard when a speaker mentions “the Austrian Theory of the business cycle”? (check out 4:23 in video 1). At what other political convention are supporters actually enthusiastic about ideas at all?
