While speculating on the reception of his “Myth of Technological Progress” essay, Scott Locklin had this say about a certain hipness-powered social network:
I expect great gnashing of teeth among the nerditariat! I’ve had this argument lots of times and they come up with crap like, “well now we have TWITTER.” Um, yay: I guess that’s like being psychic, except you’re depending on someone else’s mental diarrhea.
