Asa Butterfield in Ender's Game

Asa Butterfield in Ender's Game

As always in similar cases, there’s the little matter of the fact that one can be fired for not toeing the party line on homosexuality, but one cannot legally be fired for practicing homosexuality.

Nor, to bring the point back home, are there effective and media-supported boycotts against organizations that endorse gay marriage. When covered at all by the media they are dismissed as idiotic bigotry of a worldview that is headed the way of phlogiston and ether. Boycotting the movie of a guy who still advances this latter-day phlogiston theory? Now that’s serious business that needs widespread coverage”€”nay, encouragement!

Never mind Card’s liberal views on virtually every other subject. Let’s chuck him in a river and see if he floats.

The liberal media fails to understand that all they’ve done is get someone like me”€”who almost never goes to see new movies”€”into the theater to support the latest victim of the leftist witch hunt and to turn an otherwise workmanlike film into a cultural phenomenon.

Thanks for that, fellas.
