TAYLOR V. TWITTER
Jared Taylor is so well-mannered, he makes Mister Rogers look like Jeffrey Dahmer. Still, because he’s a white man who makes no apologies for it, he endures mucho persecution for his beliefs.

Although Twitter used to posture itself as “the free speech wing of the free speech party,” its ongoing purges of users shows that it is firmly and decidedly opposed to non-leftist ideas. It recently banned Taylor, who has decided to fight back using the court system. Taylor has filed a suit claiming that the social-media colossus violated his free speech rights as they are defined by California law:

The suit by, filed Tuesday in state Superior Court in San Francisco, argues that Twitter violated California law protecting free speech in public spaces when it banned Mr. Taylor in December. Twitter told Mr. Taylor by email that it did so under a rule in its user agreement that bars accounts affiliated with organizations that promote violence, according to the suit. Mr. Taylor says he neither advocated violence nor was affiliated with such groups.

The suit cites a 1979 case in which the California Supreme court decided that even privately owned public forums are forbidden from censoring speech.

Last summer Taylor reportedly became the first person whose YouTube video was demonetized due to its “extremist” content. Just like Twitter, YouTube banned Taylor’s content due to the idea that it could potentially “incite violence.” The video in question was about racial differences in IQ, a topic which apparently makes some people violent.

POLES CAVE ON HOLOCAUST LAW
Were you aware that six million Poles died in World War II? Hmm—now where have we heard that number before?

Earlier this month, Poland’s president signed a bill that would criminalize blaming Poles for the Holocaust. One passage of the bill states:

Whoever claims, publicly and contrary to the facts, that the Polish Nation or the Republic of Poland is responsible or co-responsible for Nazi crimes committed by the Third Reich…or for other felonies that constitute crimes against peace, crimes against humanity or war crimes, or whoever otherwise grossly diminishes the responsibility of the true perpetrators of said crimes – shall be liable to a fine or imprisonment for up to three years.

It’s an odd twist on those laws against Holocaust denial that exist in 16 European nations as well as Israel.

Neither Israel nor the USA were OK with this new law, and it appears that the Poles are caving in to the pressure. Israeli TV reports that Polish officials are hurriedly flying to Israel to work out a “mutually acceptable amended version” of the law.

Israeli officials allege that Poland’s law would “inhibit free speech about the Holocaust.” In case you didn’t notice, this is the same Israel that criminalizes Holocaust denial.

OK, at this point we’re getting a headache. The whole situation is fershlugina.

NEW YORK TIMES: WAKANDA AIN’T NO SHITHOLE
President Trump recently faced scorn and praise for allegedly referring to Haiti and certain African countries as “shitholes.”

Well, here comes The New York Times to the rescue with definitive proof that the tiny-fingered orange monster is wrong, wrong, tragically wrong. In a review of the film Black Panther, a certain Reggie Ugwu gushes that the film’s setting of Wakanda is a “gleaming metropolis” that features “the most advanced technology on earth”:

To the politically minded, the Wakanda of “Black Panther” offers an almost too perfect rebuttal to President Trump’s comments in January in which he referred to African nations with a disparaging Trump’s expletive.

Did you get that? The New York Times is citing a fictional movie based on a comic-book hero in a mythical land as conclusive evidence that Africa ain’t chock full o’ shitholes.

What the article fails to mention is that Wakanda is an ethnostate with a wall around it.
