It’s impossible to convince people that the phrase “Black Lives Matter” is an opinion rather than a fact in a world that long ago forgot the difference between opinions and facts.
To me, very few lives matter—mine, and a handful of people I love. And that’s it.
But we are clobbered over the head as if we are Rodney King and the media is the LAPD with the idea that not only is “Black Lives Matter” an undeniable fact and settled science, it is also an explicitly anti-racist movement.
Because, you see, the system is racist and white supremacist. OK, sure, every politician who wants to stay in office and every mainstream reporter who wants to keep receiving a paycheck must pay obeisance to Black Lives Matter. And, yeah, OK, even though capitalism continues to ruthlessly exploit black people despite the fact that in real dollars and cents, black people take far more from the public till in government services than they contribute to the rest of society in taxes, the capitalist system is still somehow exploiting black people, which is some kind of weird statistical miracle when you consider the fact that Amazon, American Express, Bank of America, Barclays Bank, Barnes & Noble, BMW, Burger King, Cadillac, Capitol Records, Coca Cola, General Motors, Goldman Sachs, Google, HBO, Home Depot, MasterCard, McDonald’s, NASCAR, Netflix, Nike, Paramount Pictures, Pepsico, Porsche, Proctor & Gamble, Reebok, Sony, Starbucks, Target, Twitter, Verizon, Walmart, Warner Bros, and Wells Fargo have all pledged emotional, spiritual, and financial support to Black Lives Matter.
The problem, for the as-yet-unwoke, is that white cops are hunting down and murdering black males on the streets as if they were on some kind of all-you-can-kill safari in Zimbabwe.
Sure, you could cite “statistics” and “facts” such as the statistical fact that on a per-capita basis, a cop is 45 more times likely to be murdered than an unarmed black or that white people are 25 times more likely to be violently victimized by blacks than the inverse or that unarmed blacks are nearly 300 times more likely to be killed by other blacks than by a cop, but we see right through your so-called facts into an irredeemably racist heart that beats so joyously at the mere suggestion of black suffering that it threatens to punch a hole through your ribcage at any moment.
Donald Trump, who critics says is the most racist president ever and whose supporters can only sit back and wish that were true, recently referred to the catchphrase “Black Lives Matter” as a “symbol of hate.”
Could this man be any more ignorant?
If he’d only put his orange ear to the asphalt and listened to Marissa Jenae Johnson, a founder of Seattle’s BLM chapter, it’s the phrase “All lives matter” that is the “racial slur” because it minimizes a level of pain and suffering in black America that is so intense, we apparently must be reminded of it to the point where we’re in more pain than they are.
They will threaten to stab you if you say “All Lives Matter.” They will accuse you of spewing hate speech if you talk, and they’ll find you guilty of violence if you remain silent. They make it very hard to be friendly to them or, at some point, to care about their lives at all.
Although they are quick to accuse their critics of failing to appreciate the multifariously iridescent nuances in their gobbledygook, that you must be some kind of knuckle-dragging alabaster caveman if you don’t realize that “Black Lives Matter” doesn’t mean white lives don’t matter even if we threaten to stab you for saying that all lives matter and tiptoe around the very utterance of the word “white” for fear of offending, if you listen closely, they make no distinction between “white supremacy” and “whiteness” and “white people.” It’s all the same, and it all needs to go.
And more than anything, they want you to accept the eternal truth that it’s not racist to say all the white babies need to be killed:
The less white babies on this planet, the less of you [white adults] we got! I hope they kill all the white babies! Kill ’em all right now! Kill ’em! Kill your grandkids! Kill yourself! Coffin, bitch! Go lay in a coffin! Kill yourself!
Yusra Khogali, a co-founder of BLM’s Toronto chapter, says that white people are subhuman and that the only reason that black people haven’t wiped them off the planet is that they’ve yet to acquire the necessary power to do so:
Whiteness is not humxness. infact, white skin is sub-humxn…. White ppl are recessive genetic defects. this is factual. white ppl need white supremacy as a mechanism to protect their survival as a people because all they can do is produce themselves. black ppl simply through their dominant genes can literally wipe out the white race if we had the power to.
On an August 2015 BLM-affiilated podcast mere hours after a black assailant shot a white deputy dead in Texas, some black clown who calls himself King Noble referred to blacks as “lions” who will win the coming race war with whites:
It’s open season on killing whites and police officers and probably killing cops, period. It’s unavoidable, inescapable. It’s funny that now we are moving to a time where the predator will become the prey….Today, we live in a time when the white man will be picked off, and there’s nothing he can do about it. His day is up, his time is up. We will witness more executions and killing of white people and cops than we ever have before. It’s about to go down. It’s open season on killing white people and crackas.
At a 2017 BLM rally in Seattle, some Black Goddess grabbed a megaphone and barked thusly:
White people, give your fucking money, your fucking house, your fucking property, we need it fucking all. You need to reparate [sic] black and indigenous people right now. Pay the fuck up, pay the fuck up. It ain’t just your fucking time, it’s your fucking money, and now your fucking life is devoted to social change…. We’re all operating under white supremacy….And we need to start killing people.
Chanelle Helm, a beastly woman if ever there was one and also as luck would have it a co-founder of BLM’s Louisville, KY chapter, encouraged white people to give blacks their property and for black workers to snitch on “racist” white cowokers and get them all fired:
White people, if you don’t have any descendants, will your property to a black or brown family. Preferably one that lives in generational poverty….White people, re-budget your monthly so you can donate to black funds for land purchasing….White people, especially white women (because this is yaw specialty — Nosey Jenny and Meddling Kathy), get a racist fired. Yaw know what the fuck they be saying. You are complicit when you ignore them. Get your boss fired cause they racist too…this should be easy but all those sheetless Klan, Nazi’s and Other lil’ dick-white men will all be returning to work. Get they ass fired. Call the police even: they look suspicious…if any white person at your work, or as you enter in spaces and you overhear a white person praising the actions from yesterday, first, get a pic. Get their name and more info. Hell, find out where they work — Get Them Fired. But certainly address them, and, if you need to, you got hands: use them.
Since there is a clear dearth of white people willing to violently threaten blacks in America, there’s the black New Jersey college student who attended BLM protests on campus and was later arrested for posting fake racist death threats against black people on campus. There are the picket signs that say today’s black people aren’t like the shuffling Stepin Fetchits of yore and that WE WILL FUCK YOU UP.
There are so many threats of violence, one is left to wonder why police wind up getting into so many violent encounters with them.
And then there’s Micah Xavier Johnson, a BLM supporter who murdered four policeman and a transit officer in Dallas in 2016 at a BLM rally. Unlike nearly every cop and vigilante who’s been accused of racist murder in the past couple generations, Johnson openly stated that he wanted to kill white people.
After Rodney King was beaten by the LAPD and his assailants were acquitted, 54 people died in the riots. At last count, at least 25 people have died in the ongoing George Floyd riots.
What seems clear about Black Lives Matter at this point are two things:
1) They only seem to care about black lives when it is politically convenient.
2) They talk more about killing white people than I’ve ever heard any white “racist” talk about killing black people.
In short, what Black Lives Matter says about white people is that white people don’t deserve to live.
