61 years ago this summer, to paraphrase America’s sweetheart, Rep. Ilhan “Bro-Fo” Omar (D-Mogadishu), someone said some things:

I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character. I have a dream today.

For those who don’t recognize those words, either because they have had the benefit of a recent public school education or an advanced degree from Claudine Gay’s Harvard and as a result find those words “offensive,” here’s a clue: You had a day off on Monday as a result of a federal holiday in celebration of his birth. Given the rush to erase or otherwise distort history to bring it in line with preferred narratives, it’s rather surprising that all of the statues of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and all of the thoroughfares in every major city in America named after him have yet to go the way of everyone from Christopher Columbus and Thomas Jefferson all the way down to even Frosty the Snowman.

Since the likes of Herbert Marcuse and Theodor Adorno, aided and abetted by John Dewey, began their long march through the most consequential of institutions, American academia, the faculty lounge has been the petri dish of some of the most noxious of ideas. Had they been confined there, it would have been a mere embarrassment; the moral equivalent of a circus freak show. But now, we live in a nation and society where the past three generations of American schoolchildren have been taught to hate their country, its history, their parents, and even themselves to the extent that they believe as an article of faith that “content of character over color of skin” is not only wrong, but evil.

…Dr. Sherita Hill Golden, chief diversity officer for the prestigious Johns Hopkins Medicine hospital system, recently sent a “monthly diversity digest” email to her staff which featured a section called “Diversity Word of the Month.” This month the word is “privilege,” which the email defined as “a set of unearned benefits given to people who are in a specific social group” that operates on “personal, interpersonal, cultural and institutional levels.” It “provides advantages and favors to members of dominant groups at the expense of members of other groups” [Emphases added].

“There will be no diversity and inclusion since the aim is not to include all but to exclude those deemed to be oppressors.”

“People in dominant groups often believe they have earned the privileges they enjoy or that everyone could have access to these privileges if only they worked to earn them,” Dr. Golden added in the memo. Instead, she and her DEI ilk claim, the privileged are granted these benefits solely because the aforementioned characteristics place them squarely in the right identity group (as defined by the Critical Theorists of the Left). And since everything is a zero-sum game to the Left, it follows that if some are privileged, it must mean that those whose identity characteristics do not match the list are unjustly denied privileges.

Of course who does this Dr. Golden think needs to be taken down a notch? Whites, heterosexuals, Christians, native English speakers, males, and anyone who does not fit into the leftist-defined “victim” status. Notice that she states that it’s people “who believe they have earned the privileges” that they enjoy. You see, if you worked hard, scrimped, saved, got an entry-level job, and put your nose to the grindstone and worked overtime to get promoted, or earned an advanced degree the old-fashioned way by deferring partying in favor of burning the midnight oil studying and actually passing your exams without the benefit of a bell curve, you really didn’t earn anything. It’s all in your imagination. You’re not really entitled to it since you only got it because some minority victim didn’t get it. Or more to the point, your success was on the backs of a minority victim. And that makes you an oppressor.

Sounds crazy, but believe it or not, this warped brainwave did not emanate from the good doctor’s own head. Not that I’m accusing her of plagiarism, heaven forfend! I’m sure she originated this nugget all by herself and had no idea that some obscure political philosopher named Karl Marx came up with the idea of “false consciousness” about 150 years ago.

According to Wicked-pedia:

In Marxist theory, false consciousness is a term describing the ways in which material, ideological, and institutional processes are said to mislead members of the proletariat and other class actors within capitalist societies, concealing the exploitation and inequality intrinsic to the social relations between classes. According to Marxists, false consciousness legitimizes the existence of different social classes.

What it all boils down to is “Who’re you gonna believe, me or your own lying eyes?!” Of course, far too many have believed and continue to not trust their own lying eyes, with disastrous consequences.

Again, this madness is no longer confined to college campuses. It has become as accepted as the law of gravity—and even that is up for grabs with this class in “Afrochemistry” at Rice University—in every field of endeavor. What can possibly go wrong?

Under its People with Disabilities tab, the FAA laid out its People with Disabilities Program (PWD) that offers those individuals equal job opportunities. The site continued:

The FAA meets the goals of the PWD Program through a variety of practices:

Targeted Disabilities

Targeted disabilities are those disabilities that the Federal government, as a matter of policy, has identified for special emphasis in recruitment and hiring. They include hearing, vision, missing extremities, partial paralysis, complete paralysis, epilepsy, severe intellectual disability, psychiatric disability and dwarfism.

Terrific. In the interest of diversity, the FAA has now made it a priority to hire not only people solely based on ethnicity, sex, and the usual contents of the victimhood checklist but those with “hearing, vision, missing extremities, partial paralysis, complete paralysis, epilepsy, severe intellectual disability, psychiatric disability and dwarfism.” Meh, a blind, deaf, epileptic Ted Bundy in the control tower is no biggie. It’s those midgets you have to watch out for!

Forget about the rise in near misses at major airports, or the massive wave of flight delays that stranded passengers all over the country last summer. Pete Buttigieg, the Secretary of Transportation whose main qualifications are that he’s homosexual, and who ran the city of South Bend into the ground and spends much of his time on vacation, says,

At its best, transportation can be a powerful engine of opportunity, connecting people to jobs, education, and resources—whether they live in a big city, a rural community, or anywhere in between. Ensuring equity and accessibility for every member of the traveling public is one of the Department of Transportation’s highest priorities.

The dearth of controllers to some extent can be blamed on the pandemic, vaccine mandates, and other factors that have kept qualified people out of the control tower. But the drive to hire minorities and now mental defectives to fill those positions does not bode well for the public, either in terms of convenience or most of all safety.

Extrapolate this out to every area of society and you understand what happened to Bud Light, what’s happening to Disney and an alarmingly large swathe of the private sector. The positive mass revolt against “woke” corporations that took down those brands as well as targeted Target as well as the NFL after l’affaire Kaepernick, among others, is being met at the barricades by those who seek to punish CEOs either for backing away from DEI initiatives like Lululemon or just flat out going after companies like Hobby Lobby and Chik-fil-A for their Christian beliefs.

All of this boils down to the establishment of a caste system based on the notion of oppressors and the oppressed. Except those who are forcing this on us in the name of “diversity, equity and inclusion” are imposing anything but. There will be no diversity and inclusion since the aim is not to include all but to exclude those deemed to be oppressors.

Exclusion would be bad enough, but the ultimate goal is far more diabolical. Critical Race Theory puts forth that white people are genetically predisposed to being racist, regardless of their words and deeds to prove otherwise.

To me, that sounds better in the original German. You don’t need a degree in social justice math to understand what the endgame is.
