ABC News reports Ron Paul is third in the fundraising race, with “an impressive $2.4 million in cash on hand after raising an equal amount during the second quarter, putting him ahead of one-time Republican frontrunner John McCain, who reported this week he has only $2 million in the bank.”

This is significant in that McCain represents the War Party in its purest form, with his more-hawkish-than-thou stance on Iraq and his long record of demands for more “boot on the ground,” starting with the Kosovo war and right up until the present day.

And don’t forget to tune in this Sunday, when Dr. Paul will be interviewed by George Stephanopoulos on “This Week,” on ABC. Here‘s a preview.
