The Woke Right

In 2018, some activists, appalled by woke nonsense being published by academic journals, submitted nonsensical research. One paper claimed researchers "closely and respectfully examined the genitals of ... ten thousand dogs" to learn about "rape culture and queer performativity at urban dog ...

Socialist Utopia

Bizarrely, 62% of young Americans hold a "favorable view" of socialism. How can they be so ignorant? Socialism has been tried by lots of countries. It's failed. It always fails. China prospered somewhat only after they legalized some private enterprise. Perhaps today's kids are ignorant ...

School Choice

Now that Texas and South Carolina have passed school choice bills, parents will be able to choose the best school for their kids in 17 states. Why not all states? After all, competition improves services. The Post Office couldn't get it there overnight. Then FedEx showed it can be done. ...

Tariff Folly

Living Hell?

"Climate change will make earth a living hell!" claims popular astrophysicist Neil DeGrasse Tyson. I don't believe him. The media say, "All Arctic ice will soon melt away! Polar bears are dying off! Global warming causes food shortages!" Bunk, bunk, bunk. They are addicted to scaring ...

The Good, the Bad, the Undocumented

President Donald Trump is deporting immigrants -- 11,000 last month. Some people are unhappy about that. Last week a judge ordered a stop to Trump's removal of Venezuelan nationals. (Deportation happened anyway.) I definitely want immigrant criminals deported. Trump says migrant crime is ...

What’s On Your Plate?

I tried meat grown in a lab. It tastes like ... well ... meat. I guess it is meat, but it's not grown the normal way. Scientists extract meat cells from an animal and then grow them in a bioreactor, much like ones you see in a brewery. There, the cells divide again and again until you get ... ...
