“€œANOREXIC GIRL”€ GAME FORCED TO DIE OF STARVATION
Although your intentions may be 100% pure, the ravenously insatiable PC monster will eat you anyway if it deems that you deviate even so much as the width of one malnourished amoeba from its increasingly narrow orthodoxy.

Case in point: The developers of an app called “€œRescue the Anorexic Girl“€ apparently devised a game where you… Rescue…rather than Kill…the anorexic girl. The game’s advertising copy claimed that you can “€œbecome a real hero”€ by rescuing her. The point of the game is to toss food at the anorexic girl to prevent her from starving to death. Although dumb and perhaps unintentionally tasteless, it seems well-intentioned.

Of course, that didn”€™t stop the hyperbolic whimperers from claiming that they were “€œhorrified”€ and even “€œDISGUSTED”€ by the game, so it was quickly pulled from Amazon. Due to overeager anorexia activists, Anorexic Girl will now wither away to nothing. And they call this justice?

THE SMELL OF ROMA
Do Gypsies stink? If so, should they be forced to take their own buses?

French bus driver Dominique Granier seems to think so. He sparked “€œoutrage”€ and “€œhorror”€ and “€œindignation”€ and possible “€œaccidental pooping”€ by recently claiming that Roma passengers along the #9 route in Montpellier, France emanated an “€œunbearable”€ odor that constituted a “€œtrue infection”€ and posed a health risk to any passengers who weren”€™t smelly Roma themselves.

Bernard Gotis, spokesman for a French transportation union, slammed Granier’s suggestion, although he conceded that Roma do, indeed, stink:

It’s a disgrace. Yes, there is a bad smell when Roma people are on the bus and we have pointed it out for two years but it’s not their fault…It’s because we’ve abandoned them so much that they don’t have a tap in their camp. They’re not animals. We shouldn’t attack poor people but poverty. It only shifts the problem. We don’t want to recreate apartheid in Montpellier.

Either way, city officials have outsourced a segment of that specific bus route to a private company whose drivers do not object to driving around throngs of malodorous Roma, so it’s a win-win for everyone except those who want to force everyone to endure the olfactory intrusion of unwashed and slightly dazed Gypsies.

Some people would obviously rather smell fetid armpits than be exposed to “€œhate speech,”€ whether real or imagined. And that’s their prerogative. They should be allowed to sniff as many reeking, oniony Gypsy armpits as they wish. But they shouldn”€™t force others to do so, because that would be intolerant.
