SWEDISH ORNITHOLOGISTS WILL NO LONGER REFER TO BIRDS AS NEGROES
For a while now, Sweden has aggressively been seeking to claim the crown of the most absurdly PC nation in Europe. Sweden’s Ornithological Society recently compiled a list of over 10,000 bird names. In the process, they uncovered 10 or so names that were deemed unacceptably racist. Four different bird species whose names included the word neger (“negro”) have been renamed using svart (“black”) instead. Birds formerly referred to as kaffer“€”a word reminiscent of the anti-black South African slur “€œkaffir”€”€”have been christened with a more acceptable name, as well as the “€œHottentot”€ duck and the “€œgypsy bird.”€ Soon, Sweden will be a place where racism is nowhere and rape is everywhere.

SEAN PENN’s “€œGREEN CARD”€ JOKE BACKFIRES
Actor Sean Penn is one of the most nauseatingly liberal luminaries in Hollywood, which is why it’s delicious that an offhanded comment at the Oscars now has other liberals eating him alive. As Penn was announcing that the Best Picture Oscar was going to his longtime friend, Mexican director Alejandro González Iñárritu, he paused and quipped, “€œWho gave this son of a bitch his green card?”€ Although Iñárritu later called the joke “€œhilarious”€ backstage, this didn”€™t stop the hordes from becoming offended on his behalf, as well as on behalf of all Mexicans. The joke was called “€œdisgusting,”€ “€œhorrible,”€ “€œout of line,”€ and “€œdownright racist and offensive.”€ But is it really more disgusting than most inhabited areas of Mexico?

STUDY: DUMB GUYS DRINK MORE ALCOHOL
A recent study conducted by Sweden’s Karolinska Institutet scrutinized nearly 50,000 Swedish men born between 1949-51 and found a strong correlation between low IQ and heavy drinking. Researchers also suggested that low IQ precipitated heavy alcohol use rather than the inverse. In contrast, a 2010 London School of Economics study concluded that heavy alcohol use correlated with “€œcleverness”€ among women. Either way, a recently published study by Scientific Reports concluded that alcohol use posed a mortality risk more than 100 times higher than that of marijuana. Among all intoxicants, legal and illicit, alcohol was the only substance classified as “€œhigh risk,”€ while marijuana was the only one deemed to be of “€œlow risk.”€

Drink up, fellas! By the way, does anyone have a lighter and some rolling papers?
